Description
“Pocket Garden” is a 4 x 4 inch mixed media collage on canvas created by contemporary artist Michelle Scarafile Wallace. This small abstract artwork combines layered paint, patterned paper, pressed botanical leaves and textured collage elements to create a vibrant spring inspired composition.
The artwork features a fresh palette of blue, teal and citrus green arranged in rhythmic circular patterns that evoke new growth and seasonal renewal. Real leaves and botanical textures add dimensional detail across the surface while hand painted marks create movement and depth.
Pocket Garden reflects the playful experimentation that happens when working on an intimate scale. The small format encourages spontaneity, layered textures and expressive color while still maintaining a balanced abstract composition.
This original mixed media artwork celebrates the feeling of spring… fresh energy, new growth and the beauty found in small moments of creativity.
