Description
“Lola”is that moment when someone is staring off into the distance, and you know they’re thinking something big.
This painting brings to life the quiet strength and inquisitive nature of a young girl I met in Pinola, South Australia.
Painted with acrylics and chalk pastels this piece blends expressive brushstrokes and soft textures, echoing the subject’s thoughtful gaze and subtle resilience. The interplay of colors and textures evokes both vulnerability and fierce determination, making her a poignant addition to any contemporary portrait collection.
Ideal for collectors of figurative portrait art, contemporary acrylic paintings and those drawn to emotionally resonant artwork, “Lola” offers a glimpse into a soul full of curiosity and quiet strength.
