Description
“Echoes in Indigo” is an abstract nude painting that invites the viewer to witness a moment of stillness that feels both intimate and expansive. The figure’s back is turned, but her presence radiates forward… calm, contemplative, unapologetically whole.
Rich indigo tones surround her like water or velvet, fading into black on one side and bursting into light on the other, as if memory and clarity are locked in quiet conversation. The scraped, scribbled markings to the right add texture and emotion, suggesting layers of thought, history or hope that remain just out of reach.
There’s no need for the subject to face us — her strength is in her turning away.
