Description

“Seated Rear-Facing Nude” is a nude pastel sketch all about presence. Stillness. Simplicity.
There’s no drama here… just a nude figure, seated on a soft surface, back turned toward the viewer.
The curves are gentle but confident. The posture is casual but self-contained. It’s not seductive. It’s not performative. It’s peaceful. This piece says: “I’m here. That’s enough.”
Sketched in warm earth tones and soft neutrals, there’s no attempt to perfect the body. That’s what makes it feel so real. This isn’t a figure trying to be seen, this is a woman resting… Existing… Breathing.
There’s strength in her softness. And honesty in every stroke.
