Description
“Lizey’s Smile” is an expressive portrait painting by Michelle Scarafile Wallace capturing the joyful personality of a young child. Painted in loose, painterly brushstrokes, the artwork highlights Lizey’s bright expression, playful grin, and distinctive red ribbon headband against a dark background that allows the face to shine.
The portrait embraces warmth, movement, and character rather than rigid realism, celebrating the authenticity and spontaneity of childhood. The visible brushwork adds texture and energy, giving the painting a lively presence.
This original painting was created as a personal family portrait and is hanging in private collection. It now serves as an example of Michelle Scarafile Wallace’s portrait commissions.
