Description
“Gavin & Gary” is a lively and expressive contemporary animal portrait, featuring two charismatic goats brought to life through bold brushstrokes and vibrant color contrasts.
The playful interaction between the goats is highlighted by rich textures, energetic lines and a harmonious palette of earthy browns, bright whites and vivid blues and greens. The use of orange and blue outlines adds a modern, abstract twist, giving the painting a sense of movement and personality.
This piece is perfect for collectors of modern animal art, farm-inspired paintings, and those who appreciate bold, contemporary brushwork. “Gavin & Gary“ brings a touch of nature, humor, and warmth to any space.
“Gavin & Gary” are two goats I photographed and painted when I visited Raidis Estates, a fabulous winery in Pinola, South Australia. They are kept on the vineyard to roam and keep the weeds down away from the grapes.
